Users can scan a vehicle identification number (VIN) barcode or manually enter the VIN to access detailed recall information. The app presents this data in a clear and user-friendly manner, including details about the nature and risk level of any outstanding recalls, estimated repair times, complexity of repair, and current parts availability essential for executing the recall repairs. Additionally, users have the option to subscribe to ongoing monitoring services for specific vehicles, receiving email or text notifications should new recalls be announced.

• In terms of commercial applications, the app serves as a valuable resource during vehicle service procedures, trade-in evaluations, auction assessments, and inventory management for dealerships—both new and used.
• The app is offered free of charge to consumers and provides a trial period for businesses, allowing up to six vehicle recalls checked per month without cost. A subscription is required for continued commercial use or if more than six vehicles are evaluated in a given month.
